The bad news is a kind of good news... it is the Ductal Carcinoma in situ. She will have a mastectomy on the left. But this kind of cancer doesn't attack other tissues, so that is a positive. And she will not be having radiation or chemo treatments, which she is relieved about. They will run tests on her lymph nodes and a genetics test as well to cover all the bases.
SO, all in all, it could have been worse news... on the other hand, there is plenty here to deal with. It is difficult. Thank you for your prayers, please keep them up! Surgery is scheduled for the 26th of June.
Love ya, Amy!
xoxo to Nick, Madisen, and Mason also!
(scroll down for pics of them all...aren't they a beautiful family!!!)

Thank God for the better bad news than the worse bad news. Amy is still in my prayers-- how is she coping with the bitter-sweet news? The Lord give her strength abundantly! With lots of love, Shon
