We are all excited! Yesterday, the Missoula Children's Theatre was here. They held auditions for a production of The Little Mermaid. Jacob and Ellie auditioned and got parts! Ellie is part of a group of seahorses and Jacob is one of the town criers. Only 1st grade and up, Phoebe was very disappointed. Nate prefers only to ham it up in front of those he knows, but he knew a couple of the ones who signed up to be assistant directors and thought maybe he would try that next year. His Reading class is learning a play right now and he is the narrator and he likes the idea of being a stage hand. SO, this week we will be busy with rehearsals and Saturday there will be two performances of the play! FUN! FUN! FUN! More to follow...and pictures, COMING SOON!

My Wish, Rascal Flatts
I know this song isn't really doctrinally sound, but I do love this song and pray most of it for so many of YOU! Love you!~Adrian (scroll down to listen to it from my playlist!)
I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
and each road leads you where you wanna go,
and if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
if it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile.
But more than anything, more than anything...
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
and while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
I hope you never look back, but you never forget,
all the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
and you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
and always give more than you take.
But More than anything, yeah, more than anything...
Yeah.

"Tag ~ MeMe"
We have been tagged ~ this means a friend, my sweet and precious friend, Vicki, has named us in her blog to answer the request she was tagged to answer! This Tag was to tell seven true things about ourselves.
So, let's see...
1) We love to watch movies repeatedly and then quote them to each other.
2)I, Adrian, am a 70's music junkie. It is like a happy pill to me. John groans,I get giddy.
3) John likes 80's music, and any junk food, calls his pop 'soda', spoils me, loves working with his hands, can name any car year, make and model in about three seconds and is a Chicago Bears die hard fan (he was born there and his Dad was born and raised there).
4) John and I did not get to go to our senior prom together because he wanted to go with someone who wasn't just a friend, but someone he might have a future with! HA!(No, we had not begun to date yet, yes- i already loved him and wanted to marry him)
5)I LOVE CALVIN AND HOBBES, it makes me belly laugh!!!!!
6)I played the violin from 3rd grade through 8th grade and now dream of brushing back up on it and being able to play with an orchestra!
7)John's truth offered for the list is that he is the most easy-going person you could ever meet. True! While I can't say I have always appreciated this character trait, I am thankful for it and do believe it is the only explanation for his being able to put up with me all these years!! TRUE!
And for my tagging, my friends and family who do not yet blog, can please enter their tag here under mine in comments!(or let me know where yours will be!) :) Tag~ Jamie Treu, Stephanie, Sheri, my Mom, Mike and Amber, MomMom.

Pumpkins!
We visited the "pumpkin patch" (with a big blue A over it) today. We...well, I, the chil'ns didn't say a word, I miss our past trips with friends to the (real) pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins! And yet... This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!! Psalm 118:24
Our love to you!

Latest News
Jacob and Ellie are/were in soccer. I say were b/c Jacob fractured his fourth finger on his right hand and is now in a cast, unable to participate the last week or so. He was really enjoying it though. And a flyer just came home for basketball...of course he wants to play, but we will have to see when the cast will be coming off.
Ellie loves soccer. She has the potential to be a great player, she also has the potential to star in her own daydream right in the middle of the game! And she isn't thrilled with the boyishness of the soccer clothes, so if she plays next year we will looking for pink/sparkled soccer socks, pads, ball, etc! Hmmm...
John has been working 4 ten hour days for a few weeks now. They have been in landscaping season since about mid-July. They will continue until the ground freezes. He likes it, but it is physically exhausting. We have begun to count down to Christmas, all are anxious to hug on our family and friends in ID!
I have been enjoying one more year with Phoebe before she enters Kindergarten. We don't know yet about next year, in regards to public school vs. home school. This year is going well, praise God. Phoebe and I get to help in Jacob and Ellie's classes and help at the library. We also are enjoying Story Hour at the Library and have made some new friends. We found an Awana club that just started up last year and even joined it late last year. This year I am co-directing Cubbies with a dear, sweet friend God has blessed me with here! And in a Women's Bible study. And surprisingly, find myself leading a Moms In Touch Int'l prayer group, praise God. So, I didn't know how I was going to fill the time with the children in public school, but we are very busy! Oh! I even applied for substituting to fill in for the librarian at Nate's school one day, which I found very enjoyable!! Maybe an idea for the future...

The Pheebs
There she is...Phoebe. The cherry on top...how can I put her into words? She comes like a thief in the night and steals the hearts of all who meet her. She is precious and sweet, she is Beauty and The Beast! What new parenting conundrums can come at you with number four? Ohhh, baby, she's a whole new ball game. She is amazing, smart little cookie, yet still wants to be held. Beautiful.
Ellie in a nutshell!
This picture is worth a thousand words! She adores her Daddy and he adores her. She loves to play princess and be the Beauty, but see the twinkle in her eye...and the TOAD in her hand! She is by no means a sissy-girl (like her mom!), she wants to know what the boys are doing so she can join them if it sounds like fun! And she is one of those pretty girls who is not afriad to look or act silly, eyes crossed and all! She will do it for The Laugh! (Her Daddy's daughter!)
The Cubster
Jacob Anthony, some call him Jake, I like to call him Cub. Short for Cubbie, which was a little ditty when he was a baby....Cubbie Wubbie was a bear. Cubbie Wubbie had re-e-ed hair! Cubbie Wubbie was a cutie, yes, he was, yes, he was!! Hey, babies love that stuff! In fact, he still gets a huge grin on his face when I say that! Jacob absolutely wants to be a comedian when he grows up, thankfully we have moved out of the made-up jokes era...that was a little rough. He is so happy to make me laugh, and he is developing a great sense of humor! He also has a tender heart and enough energy to some day Save The World!
Nate-nate-bo-bate
This picture is also not the most recent, but here he is...the Nate-man. He, along with his siblings, have followed in their father's footsteps, and love to make people laugh! Although he is, at this stage enjoying being a source of irritation to his dad, I think he is quite hilarious and get a kick out of him! He really enjoys reading and also taking piano lessons. Right now, he and his brother are planning to be stand-up comedians, but he also wants to work in the greenhouse business. ;) Hmmm, he used to want to be a computer tech....where could he be getting these ideas?
